Maltby Street Market

Both of us ventured to Maltby Street Market located in Bermondsey it’s around a 10 minute walk from London Bridge Station. The bustling market stands are situated in between the railway arches, this quirky street food market, consisted of waffles, to hot dogs and burgers to brownies. We already cannot wait to go back to try more of the delicious food stalls goodies!

We tried to fit in as much as we could (our mouths) so out the many appetising stalls, we opted for the ‘steak and chips’ , it says it in the name, you could choose from steak and chips or a steak baguette with chips along with a selection of sauces. At only £8 you can’t go wrong!

Steak and Chips

Whilst we ate our steak and chips, we sat at little bird which stood in the heart of the market and was a gin bar. Mollies a huge lover of gin, I’m not so much, but I was more than willing to try!

Little Bird

Lastly, we made sure we saved ourselves for desert..and we really did save the best til last! Taiwanese street food Dhan Waffle, were cute egg shaped waffles, in an egg carton dressed with a topping of your choice..we opted for the obvious – Nutella, and thought we’d take a risk with one Peanut butter. These are a must when you visit Maltby Street!
