Marbella’s always been a bit of a family tradition, a short 2 hour flight and before you know it you’re relaxing in the costa del sol, indulging in sangria and sunshine.
Over the years, restaurants and shops have come and go, so here is my guide to the best restaurants, beach clubs and hotels in Marbella and Puerto Banus.
Where to stay
Hotel Puente Romano – If money is no object, this is the place to stay. Luxurious and family friendly – located on the golden mile.
H10 – Adults only, but great for a weekend stay or girls holiday if you’re wanting to be in walking distance of the port.
Guadalpin Banus – Luxury 5* hotel on the port – great location.
Melia Don Pepe – situation along the golden mile, 5* resort, family friendly.

What To Wear
Marbella is very dressy, this is one of the reasons I love it so much. I’d wear heels or wedges most nights to dinners with either smart trousers, dresses or a chic maxi dress with sandals. During the day I lived in bikinis and beach dresses.
